Meet some of our 2023 Scholars!

K. Menefee

Graduated from Cypress Ridge High School with 5.0877 GPA! She will be attending Sam Houston State University majoring in Pre-Nursing & minor in Early Childhood Education. Her goal is to attend med school to be a OB/GYN. She enjoys painting, cooking, & dancing in her free time.

J. Jackson

Graduated from Westside High School in the Business Law pathway. She is currently a freshman attending Sam Houston State University majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Homeland Security. "I'm highly energetic, caring, helpful, and smart. My plan for life is to become a criminal profiler and work for the FBI. I chose this career because I want the opportunity to help build accurate profiles and keep wrongfully accused people out of prison."

S. Harris

 Graduated from Arlington Seguin High currently attending University of North Texas majoring in Sociology to work in the Criminal Justice Department.

J. Ravenell

 Graduate of Desoto ISD. He participated in The Business Law program, The Male Leadership Program, and National Junior Honor Society. In high school he chose Engineering as his CTE and was welcomed into the National Honor Society. He graduated with a 3.7 GPA. He was a part of The Desoto Varsity Track Team and the 6A Div II State Championship Football Team. He continues his football career at The University of Texas at Permian Basin and majors in Finance/Business Management. He would like to utilize his finance degree to become a sports agent, coach, or sports commentator.

C. Robinson

Currently attending Prairie View A&M University for Engineering.

S. Young

Graduated from Dobie High School class of 2023. Top 15% of her class, Honor roll, EKG Tech, 4.3 GPA, Mrs. G Memorial Scholarship Recipient. Attending Sam Houston State University.
